Andy Goldsworthy’s work inspires me; “Shades” is an exercise to fine tune color skills. I am amazed at how Goldsworthy achieves mastery at shifting hue and value using only found objects in nature.
In autumn, 2007, I collected leaves and arranged them in a Goldsworthy tribute.
