Marley the Maggot
This book represents the curiosity children have for disgusting things, their obsession with monsters, and their peculiar interest in the belly button. A microscopic camera was used to capture this ‘most monstrous’ part of the human body, and transform it into something abstract, imaginative, playful. Numerous belly buttons were filmed and photographed to make this book.
